Every School Day Counts - Tips for Parents, by Parents

Parent Hub Donegal is organising a Parents Plus Children's programme in Ballyshannon on Thursday mornings 10am - 12:30pm for six weeks starting on 7th March in the Parish Centre at Kilbarron Parish.

The programme is for parents/guardians of 5 - 11 year olds. Any and indeed every family could benefit from the programme. The greatest learning and boost to self-esteem for parents comes from the experience of being in the group with other parents.

The aim of the programme is to enhance positive parenting skills so that parents can support their child's development in terms of language, learning, emotional awareness, social skills and self esteem. The programme promotes positive behaviour and helps develop skills to deal in a positive way with challenging behaviour.

The programme is free to attend. There is a parent's manual available to buy for €10. Parents can register for the programme by clicking the link below
